Miles Clarke serves as a Program Mentor with Project Hope Helps, Inc., offering a powerful blend of personal recovery experience and professional insight. Over the past five years, Miles has been personally mentored by Project Hope Helps Co-Founder Jacob R. Evans, shaping his development as a leader committed to helping others break free from cycles of addiction, self-sabotage, and emotional instability.

Through years of direct service and structured mentorship, Miles has become a trusted presence in the lives of those navigating early recovery. He specializes in working with young men who struggle with accountability and identity, offering a balance of challenge, support, and unwavering presence. His approach is rooted in honesty, consistency, and a deep belief that people change when they are both seen and held to a higher standard.

Miles regularly facilitates group discussions and recovery education sessions focused on emotional regulation, resilience, discipline, and purpose. His ability to speak truth with compassion, de-escalate conflict, and create space for genuine growth makes him a vital part of the Project Hope Helps mission.

Chief Tom Wright serves as the Division Chief of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for the Nampa Fire Department, where he leads with a commitment to community health and innovative emergency response. With a career spanning decades in fire and EMS leadership, Chief Wright has been instrumental in advancing public safety initiatives throughout Nampa and the broader Canyon County area.

In 2023, Chief Wright co-founded the Nampa Narcan Initiative, a pioneering program designed to combat the opioid crisis through immediate intervention and sustained recovery support. Unlike traditional overdose response models, this initiative incorporates a unique peer support component. As Chief Wright explains, “Ours is the only one that uses a peer support component to it, where our peer support representative will touch base with them, make contact, get them, they know which drug center or which facility helps them the best and gets them assisted into getting admitted into a treatment program and then follows up with them on a monthly basis.”

Under his leadership, the initiative has achieved notable success. Within its first year, over 220 individuals were admitted into treatment programs, with 42 maintaining sobriety for more than six months. This collaborative effort, supported by local law enforcement, healthcare providers, and community organizations, exemplifies Chief Wright’s dedication to holistic and compassionate emergency care.

Chief Wright’s work with the Nampa Narcan Initiative aligns closely with the mission of Project Hope Helps, emphasizing the importance of community-based solutions and sustained support for individuals on their path to recovery. Jacob R. Evans is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Project Hope Helps, Inc., a nonprofit organization committed to advancing recovery, resilience, and reintegration through community-based solutions. Recognized by the Governor of Idaho and honored by the Idaho Business Review as a “40 Under 40” awardee, Evans has spent the past decade on the front lines of the substance use crisis—building systems that restore dignity and deliver real outcomes.

A seasoned recovery strategist and national advocate, Evans has personally conducted over 1,000 crisis interventions and helped more than 2,000 individuals find a pathway to recovery. Through Project Hope Helps, he has led a range of volunteer-driven initiatives, including structured recovery housing, peer navigation programs, legal system advocacy, and direct transportation to care—all provided at no cost to those served. These grassroots efforts have not only saved lives but created scalable models of community impact.

In 2023, Evans co-founded the Nampa Narcan Initiative alongside Chief Tom Wright of Nampa Fire EMS. The program—recognized for its unique integration of peer support, overdose response, and follow-up engagement—connected over 220 people to treatment in its first year and has become a statewide example of how public safety and nonprofits can partner to change lives.

Jacob brings a deeply analytical and service-minded approach to his leadership. He studied law at West Virginia University College of Law, where he served as Student Body Vice President, Student Governor, and Chairman of the Board of Governors, receiving multiple academic and leadership honors, including Outstanding Delegate at the National Model United Nations conferences on three occasions.

Beyond his legal and recovery background, Evans has collaborated with veterans organizations, USSOCOM, major universities, and municipal governments to develop strategic interventions for at-risk populations. His work focuses on measurable impact, ethical care delivery, and creating long-term systems of support.
